Our first time backcountry camping together was along the Western Uplands Trail in Algonquin Provincial Park. Situated in central Ontario, the park is well known for clean freshwater lakes, portaging trails (hiking and canoeing), and difficult backcountry hiking trails. We only took on the first loop on the trail, and it was a seriously challenging feat.
